  • "I often think of the womb - of the time when I was born, of the colors I saw at the very beginning, of why I cried - of why we all cry. All the pain can leave our body all at once, and return all at once; we stand here at the precipice in a plane where the fear of the return of pain does not exist. Fear need not be the common-ground on which all humans stand. In this painting, there is 'release', complete surrender of control, disjointed thoughts.
